Industrial hand joysticks
Industrial hand joysticks are used for precise control of machines, vehicles and installations. Examples include cranes, winches, agricultural machines, construction equipment and other heavy duty applications.
When choosing a joystick, it is not only about the number of axes or the shape of the grip. Sensor technology, installation space, load and operating environment also play an important role. That is why we offer standard joysticks as well as versions adapted to your application.
Potentiometers and Hall Effect sensors
Our hand joysticks are available with potentiometers or Hall effect sensors. Both technologies convert joystick movement into an analogue output signal.
A potentiometer is a reliable choice for many standard applications. Hall effect works contactless. This makes it highly suitable for applications with heavy vibration or intensive use.
For safety critical applications, redundant outputs are also available. Two independent signals provide extra security for the control system. Please note: the Hall effect sensors we use operate with a 5 Vdc supply voltage.
