We are proud to announce that Olaf de Kok, currently Sales Director at Althen Sensors & Controls, will become the new Managing Director in the Netherlands effective 1 January 2026.
Rely on the full Althen experience
In his first Althen year Olaf has played an important role in strengthening customer relationships and supporting the growth of our sales organisation. But soon his impact went beyond sales alone. He has worked closely with teams across the company to make sure our customers can rely on the full Althen experience, from engineering support and product development to delivery and service.
New role
The enitre Althen group is growing fast and is built on strong partnerships with partner and customers. At Althen we connect people with their peers to make communication easy and effective. In his new role as Managing Director, Olaf will focus on connecting people, processes, and priorities across the organisation. This will help Althen move faster as one team, while keeping quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction at the heart of every decision.

Roadmap for the coming years
Olaf will help drive Althen’s strategic roadmap for the coming years. This includes strengthening long term OEM relationships and increasing design in opportunities, while continuing to invest in engineering and innovation. He will also focus on operational excellence, with reliable processes, quality, and supply chain performance as key priorities. At the same time, Olaf will support people and culture by empowering teams, developing technical and commercial talent, and encouraging collaboration across departments and across the wider Althen Group.

Olaf is grateful for the trust and excited to step into this new role. He highlights that Althen is built on teamwork. Every department plays a role in delivering quality and support to customers, from R&D and engineering to logistics, finance, sales, and marketing.
